is a selective, pre-emergence herbicide for controlling annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in ornamental planting beds, around established flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Active Ingredient: It contains 5% Trifluralin.
- Function: It forms a chemical barrier in the soil that prevents weed seeds from germinating and establishing themselves, providing control for up to three months with a single application.
- Application Rate: The typical application rate is 1.8 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft., covering approximately 22,200 sq. ft. per 40 lb bag.
- Important Consideration: This product does not kill existing weeds. For best results, the area should be weed-free before application, and a single rainfall or irrigation of 0.5 inches or more is required within 3 days of application to activate the herbicide.
