Limestone screenings are finely crushed limestone particles, typically less than 1/4 inch in size, that create a compactable and stable base material. This material is commonly used as a base for pavers, patios, walkways, and driveways due to its excellent compaction properties. Limestone screenings provide a smooth, level surface and help with drainage while preventing shifting and settling over time. It is also used for leveling under artificial turf, filling small voids, and as an alternative to sand in various landscaping applications.

One ton of limestone screenings typically covers approximately:

• 100-120 square feet at a 2-inch depth
• 60-80 square feet at a 3-inch depth

Coverage may vary depending on compaction and specific project requirements.
